No. We are heritage conservators specializing in wood. We restore every type of wooden fixture: sculptures, vaults, paneling, windows, doors, altars, facades, and other wooden elements.

Yes. We use a system of restoration seals that ensure tightness, thermal comfort, and noise reduction — all without compromising the historic character of the woodwork.

4. Is it possible to install modern insulated glass units in old windows?**

Yes. Thanks to a special technological process, we install double-glazed units in historic window sashes, preserving their original appearance.

5. What is the cost of renovating the wooden elements you work with?

Answer

We prepare the initial estimate based on photos sent by the client (both exterior and interior) and the basic measurements of the elements.

After the preliminary cost estimate is approved, we visit the site, finalize the details, and prepare the final offer.

6. How long does it take to receive a cost estimate?

Up to 1.5 weeks from the submission of complete materials.

7. What about securing the entrance during the renovation of external doors?

Answer

We install temporary doors with handles and locks that allow tenants or building users to function normally.

Answer

Yes. We comprehensively carry out the electrical installation and the mounting of an automatic opening system, tailored to the character of the historic doors.

9. Do you handle all the formalities with the heritage conservator?

Yes. We prepare conservation work programs, conduct consultations, and obtain permits from the Provincial Monument Conservator.

10. What happens in the case of missing elements, such as handles, hinges, stops, or decorations?

Answer

That’s no problem for us. We recreate missing elements—casting them in brass or other materials, and if needed, crafting them by hand in cooperation with blacksmiths. Everything is done with care to ensure consistency with the original, historic appearance.
